We stock a wide range of Jobe wetsuits to meet the needs of everyone. Selecting the right wetsuit hinges on water temperature and your intended activity. Finding a good fit is important for many reasons:

  • Comfort all day long with quality materials (no rubbing & not too tight)
  • Complete flexibility with the full range of movement
  • Warmth while in the sea
  • Ease of dressing and undressing
  • Looking great!

Thickness: The key to warmth in a water sport wetsuit is selecting the appropriate neoprene thickness, indicated by two numbers separated by a slash. The first number represents the chest thickness, while the second denotes the thickness in the arms and legs. For instance, a 3/2 wetsuit offers different levels of insulation in these areas. Jobe wetsuits stand out amongst many for their highest quality neoprene, which not all competitors can compete with.

Fit: A proper fit is crucial. Your wetsuit should feel snug without any bunching in the limbs or sagging in the back. This close fit ensures only a minimal layer of water is trapped for efficient warming. It should also fit securely around the neck, wrists and ankles to prevent excessive water entry and maintain its insulating properties.

With a Jobe Wetsuit, you can be protected all day in the water, doing any activity! Jobe’s water sports wetsuit range is made for the demands of adrenaline seekers. For every water sport, we have every confidence that you’ll perform your best whether you’re swimming, jet skiing, waterboarding, water skiing, surfing, bodyboarding, paddleboarding or boating.

Wetsuits by JOBE

Wetsuits are essential gear for year-round water sports, keeping surfers, swimmers, and other enthusiasts comfortable in the water. Jobe’s wetsuits, available in shorty and full styles, work by trapping a thin layer of water against your skin, which your body warms to provide insulation and prevent excessive heat loss.

Beyond warmth, wetsuits offer a layer of protection against abrasions, sun exposure, and even some impact, depending on the specific suit. With Jobe water sports wetsuit, you can enjoy water sports regardless of the season due to the thermal insulation and longevity of the materials. You’ll get so much life out of a Jobe wetsuit!

After wearing:

As soon as you’re out of the water, thoroughly rinse your wetsuit inside and out with cold or lukewarm fresh water. This removes salt, chlorine, sand and other debris that can damage the neoprene over time. Hot water can degrade the neoprene in your suit, making it less flexible and less effective.

Washing:

There are specialist shampoos for your wetsuits that you can use every few washes to reduce any odours and build-up of chlorine or salt. These are designed to clean neoprene without damaging it. Never put your wetsuit in a washing machine, as it can damage the neoprene and seams.

Drying:

Flip your wetsuit inside out to allow the inner lining, which is usually the dampest, to dry first. This also helps protect the outer layer. Hang your wetsuit in a shaded, well-ventilated area. If it’s left in the sun and gets too warm, again, the neoprene can be damaged.

Storing:

The best way to store a dry wetsuit is to hang it on a wide wetsuit hanger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This prevents creases and maintains its shape. If you must fold your wetsuit, do so gently, avoiding sharp creases that can permanently damage the neoprene.
