Each model of jet ski is designed for different circumstances.

To keep your waverunner running at its best, regular servicing is essential. You should always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for service intervals, which are typically annually or after a certain number of operating hours. We’re happy to help you determine the right servicing schedule for your specific waverunner model.

The ideal scenario would be 50 hrs or 12 months, which ever comes first.

There are several maintenance tasks you can perform to keep your waverunner in top condition, including:

• Flushing the engine: After every use, especially in saltwater, flush the cooling system with fresh water to prevent contaminant build-up and corrosion. Read our servicing page here.
• Cleaning the exterior: Rinse the entire exterior with fresh water and mild soap after each trip to prevent corrosion and keep it looking new.
• Checking fluid levels and connections: Regularly inspect oil levels, battery terminals for corrosion, and all electrical connections

Yamaha offers a diverse range of Waverunner models, each designed for different preferences and uses. The FX Series is popular for families due to its comfort and versatility.

VX series: also popular for families, this series is slightly smaller with less spec but a similar principle; because of this, it’s more budget-friendly

GP series: This series is for the adrenaline seekers, as it’s a nimble, sporty craft.

Jetblaster: For thrill seekers who want bang for buck, the Jet Blaster gives you a bit of everything as an all-round, small, lightweight ski.

Superjet standup: made to facilitate learning, this series brings the thrill of stand-up riding closer to all. The wide range of adjustable features will put novice and recreational riders in their comfort zone, preparing them to enjoy effortlessly a new type of riding.

If you’re ever in doubt, use E5 fuel! It is still widely available in petrol stations, and while it may be more expensive, it eliminates any concerns about ethanol compatibility and damage to your engine. 

You can use E10 Fuel, but NWS Marine would recommend E5 petrol; read more here.
